Welcome to Masham Photographic Club

We have now reached the time when we have a couple of months off from Club Meetings and try and get out with our camera enjoying the summer. Club meetings will resume again on September 7th with the AGM. Full details of the programme can be found one the Programme 2021/22 page of the website. If there are any non members from near and far who would like to joint club or any of the meetings , you are most welcome – please get in touch via the contact page on this website .

About the Club

Masham Photographic Club was founded in September 2004 by a group of local enthusiasts who wished to learn more about photography generally and encourage the exchange of ideas on a friendly and informal basis.

We are proud and delighted to have a membership with such varied interests that we gain knowledge and experience not only from our scheduled events and presentations, but also from each other.

We meet at 7.30pm in the Small Hall which is downstairs in Masham Town Hall, Masham every first and third Tuesday of the month from September to June and visitors are always welcome.  We have a varied programme of external speakers as well as member run evenings. We also run a monthly themed competition and have two exhibitions each year in the Masham Parish church. In Masham you are never far away from a pub and members often enjoy a drink in a local bar after the meeting.

Photo of the Month

During our summer break we stage our Annual Exhibition in St Mary’s Church Masham. The entries were on show over 31stJuly/1st August weekend and over 200 members of the public visited the exhibition and voted for their favourite images. This years winner was the very unseasonal image “Feed My Sheep by Len Shepherd. A typically atmospheric Dales scene which Len captured wonderfully. All the entries for the competition can be found on the Annual Exhibition 2021 page in the Competition Galleries section of the website
