We award a trophy each year for the following competitions:
Annual Print Competition
This competition is held July, judged by our club President, and awarded at our AGM in September.
The trophy for this is the beautiful antique enlarger lens with name of winner engraved on a plate.
Sheep Fair Print Competition,
This competition takes place in September during the Sheep Fair. Susan Cunliffe – Lister, the founder / organiser of the Sheep Fair, is the judge.
This trophy is awarded in October and is identified by the prominently displayed large, elegant crystal, with winner’s name engraved on a plate
Audio-visual Competition,
This competition will be held in April and the trophy, the Oscar – like statuette, is awarded in May with the name of winner engraved on a plate.
The judge for this monthly competition is TBD.
Ian Whitaker Memorial Trophy for Best Humorous Image, a
This year – long competition will be judged in June and the trophy awarded at our June meeting.
The judge for this award is TBD.
MPC Overall Competition Winners
Trophies are awarded for the members with the three highest points totals accumulated throughout the year in our regular monthly competitions. Judges for our monthly competitions can be found on our website throughout the year. The name of the winner of each award is engraved on a glass plaque:
First Place: Masham Photographic Club Glass Plaque
Second Place: Rosebush Glass Plaque
Third Place: Ian Whitaker Glass Plaque
