This months competition has taken place whilst our regular Club nights are on hold because of the Coronavirus outbreak. In fact the title for the competition was specifically chosen with this in mind and it is good to see that the number of entries was significantly higher that the last couple of competitions.
Our judge this month is club member Joan Birch and as is the case on “normal” club nights she has given her thoughts on the winning images.
“My choice for the competition.
1st : Spring Colour… I liked that because of the flowers in the foreground and the way the blue flower and the window link together in the sunshine, with a glimpse of blue sky.
2nd : Bonfire …the man is totally relaxed watching the embers, the Daffodils and shadows add to the image.
3rd : Starry Starry Night… the silhouette of the trees stand out against the stars
Highly Commended : Shepherds Delight…a lovely sunset image with the clouds in the foreground.
Commended : Hi… A delightful little boy, just seeing what is happening next door
Commended : Standing Tall…A lovely spring picture, well captured before the lamb fell off its Mother
Commended : View from my back door…A very nice image showing off the lovely flower
